We Love Personal Care

Are your products vegan?

Our Deodorant Balms, Scent Diffusers, and Sunscreens are completely vegan. Some of our deodorant sticks and lip balms contain beeswax, but we also offer vegan alternatives.

The vegan options are: Deodorant Stick Zesty Lime and Lip Balm Lush Raspberry.

There is no aluminum in the deodorant, but the balm is?

Balm is the most recycled type of packaging in the Netherlands. That's why we use this packaging.

How long will I last with the deodorant?

Both the deodorant tin and stick last for approximately 10–12 weeks.

Both the deodorant tin and stick typically last around 10–12 weeks.

You only need one swipe per armpit, and thanks to the coconut oil, it spreads easily.

Why do I sweat more than usual when using your deodorant?

Our deodorant is made from 100% natural ingredients. Your body is used to the aluminum in conventional deodorants, which block your sweat glands. When you switch to our natural deodorant, your sweat glands become “unblocked,” which can temporarily cause increased sweating. This can be seen as detoxifying your sweat glands. This is completely normal here’s to healthy underarms!

I am pregnant, can I use your products?

The safety of our customers is our top priority. Although our products are carefully formulated, we recommend that pregnant and breastfeeding women consult their doctor before use. If you wish, we can provide you with the full list of ingredients.

I get irritation under my armpit from the deodorant, how is this possible?

It’s possible that your skin may react to our deodorant. The most common cause is a sensitivity to baking soda, a natural ingredient that helps neutralize odors. While this ingredient works well for most people, it can sometimes cause mild irritation, redness, or itching on sensitive skin.

Additionally, your skin may need some time to get used to a natural deodorant, especially if you’re switching from a conventional deodorant with aluminum salts. This adjustment period can last from a few days to a few weeks.

For people with sensitive skin or during the adjustment period, we’ve developed the Sensitive variant. This deodorant is hypoallergenic, contains no baking soda, and is extra gentle on the skin. You can also use this variant temporarily to soothe your skin before switching back to another variant.

Tip: Avoid shaving your underarms immediately before applying deodorant, and use only a small amount a thin layer is enough.

Can I take the deodorant with me on the plane?

Yes! Our deodorant is allowed on planes. Keep in mind, however, that its melting point is between 23–26°C (73–79°F). So if you’re traveling to a warm country, store the deodorant in the refrigerator.

Doesn't the deodorant stain on my clothes?

Our deodorant generally does not stain. However, its base consists of oils and fats. It’s a good idea to wait a few minutes before putting on clothing, allowing it to absorb into your skin, and to avoid using too much.

Are We Love the Planet products tested on animals?

No! We love the planet and animals too. In the Netherlands, cosmetic products have not been tested on animals for a long time. Since 1997, animal testing for the development, safety, and effectiveness of cosmetic products has been banned. This ban has applied across Europe since 2004. Additionally, since 2009, cosmetic ingredients are also prohibited from being tested on animals. Finally, since 2013, there has been a trade ban in Europe, meaning cosmetics tested on animals cannot be sold on the European market.
